What are the FF Awards?

The FF Awards are a celebration and recognition of companies in the fintech space and their ‘WOW’ moments; products, services or ideas that bring meaningful change to the financial services sector. The awards recognise innovation in product and services and delivery of solutions to challenging issues to a wide audience.

Who operates the Awards?

The Awards are organised by FF News | Fintech Finance, publisher of The Fintech Magazine, The Paytech Magazine and The Insurtech Magazine. You can find more at ffnews.com which is also home to The Fintech Show, Fintech Virtual Arenas and a trove of daily industry stories, event coverage, interviews & more.

Finalists will be decided by Fintech Finance subscribers. Winners will be judged by industry leaders in financial sectors.

Who is eligible to enter?

The FF Awards are open to companies worldwide. If you have a WOW Moment which fits the criteria of at least one category, tell us all about it in a 3 minute video. It doesn’t matter if you’re a pre-fund startup or an international unicorn, everything is equitable at the FF Awards; everyone has an equal chance to win.

How do I become a Finalist?

Voting begins on October 2nd and the format is simple. The top 5 videos with the most votes in each category are shortlisted and move on to the finals, which are judged by leaders in financial services.

Does my entry need to be created in the past 12 months?

No.

Can we do a joint entry/case study or bring in a third party?

Yes. Check out the Partnership award, however you are free to enter jointly in any category.

Can I enter/win in more than one category?

Yes. Each entry can be submitted to up to 3 categories, as long as it is relevant.

Entry Video

What needs to be in the entry video?

This can be whatever you want it to be – We simply want to see a WOW moment. We want you to put together an ‘elevator pitch’ to convey your message.

Why you should win in your category, summed up in an easy way to understand. So even if the judges weren’t an ‘expert’ in that space, they would even watch it and think ‘WOW, that’s pretty cool!’

Whether you wanted to keep it a simple and direct message to the camera or include a bunch of graphics, edits and b-roll is completely up to you.

Can I use a previous video?

Absolutely – as long as it is three minutes or under.

The important thing is that it is clear to understand your process or product, and it showcases a WOW moment!

Awards Show

Are you having an In-Person Awards Ceremony?

Yes. This will be on the 28th November at Old Billingsgate.

What is the dress code for the ceremony?

Wear what you would wear to a movie premiere!
