HPS has identified some concrete use cases and provided simple, secure and seamless solutions using a mobile application that improves the autonomy of blind and visually impaired people. To interact with the application, blind users use smartphone’s screen reader and visually impaired people enlarge text. HPS has designed a solution to help blind and visually impaired people both during card payments on POS and also adapted to ATM usage, by generating one-time passwords (OTP).
