The video demonstrates Papara’s Voice Card. Developed by Papara alongside Mastercard, Thales and BlindLook, Voice Card is a world first providing blind and visually impaired users with an essential tool to carry out fast, easy and secure transactions and payments through the Papara app on their mobile phones. To use the card, users pair the card with their phones using near-field communication and turn on Bluetooth when they are ready to pay for an item. After tapping their card on the terminal, they can listen to the transaction amount as it is read through their phone before finalising the purchase.
